About this Opportunity:

The Supply Chain Management Intern will have the opportunity to partake in site initiatives that will give them exposure to many aspects of Supply Chain. They will be interacting with buyers, planners, and other SCM teams around the world.

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong presentation skills

• Have some project management / supply chain experience / understanding preferred, but not required

Activities:

• Participate in user acceptance testing with the business users
• Support user acceptance testing on the functionally of new tools
• Track Supply Chain activities and Key Performance Indicators (“KPI’s”)
• Help facilitate and coordinate the onboarding of new suppliers
• Validate data and determine actions to close gaps with data integrity
• Run weekly or monthly reports
• Review documents and contracts

Physical Demands:

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office with exposure to manufacturing environments.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
• Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc).

Education: Currently enrolled in a formal Internship program completing the 3rd year of a 4-year University program or 2nd year of a 3-year College Diploma program. Commerce or Supply Chain Management Program Preferred.
