Your next challenge will be…

As a Graduate Process Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be responsible for process development, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production processes and equipment. You'll work closely with operations, technical, and quality teams to drive projects aimed at improving line performance and contributing to new business opportunities. This role provides exposure to automated processes within an ISO 13485 certified manufacturing site. 
 

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Your day to day activities will include the following…

•    Embrace teamwork and integration within the Engineering Department, as well as with Production and QA Departments 
•    Support process improvement projects to enhance equipment availability and production efficiency 
•    Participate in any cross functional training initiatives
•    Assist with installation, validation, and commissioning of process equipment and automation control systems 
•    Troubleshoot daily production and process problems, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions 
•    Support maintenance and calibration of critical equipment-systems 
•    Participating in Lean Six Sigma projects and initiatives
•    Comply with all health & safety policies and instructions and actively contributing to company efforts to promote safe behaviour and safe systems of work

     What do we expect from you?

•    Be a practical self-starter with a strong motivation to learn 
•    Familiarity with engineering tools and software packages to design and automate manufacturing processes
•    Proficiency in Excel 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of root cause analysis methods 
•    Ability to react quickly and logically to problems, and work independently 
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•    Ability to understand, develop and communicate manufacturing drawings and plans
•    Understanding of the importance of control procedures and validation protocols

Typical Experience

What are we looking for?

•    B.Sc. in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing or related engineering discipline 
•    1-2 years' experience is desirable 
•    Experience in an automated manufacturing environment is beneficial
•    Experience in Process Control / Operations / Projects is an advantage
