Summary

The Specialist, IT Solutions will engage with site business functions to identify and advocate business process improvement opportunities through the use of IT solutions. Collect, analyze, develop, document and communicate business requirements, and work with various IT teams to develop and deliver solutions. Provide support and user training on selected systems (for example SFC, ERP and local applications). Participate in IT projects in various capacities, including project coordination and management.

Detailed Description

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies requirements for new Project implementation, Service Requests and Production issues specific to Integration
  • Proposes Solutions and creates designs based on Customer and Business requirements for Integration using SAP PI/PO, GoAnywhere or SAP Netweaver Gateway
  • Develops, Tests and Implements Integration solutions using various integration tools like SAP PO, MFT and API platforms.
  • Helps the Support Team for Level 2 related Production issues and Production activities
  • Performs Root-Cause Analysis for uncommon errors/incidents
  • Helps in the standardization initiatives for Integration Solutions

Requirements:

  • Has strong knowledge in SAP PO. Experience in SAP CPI and Integration suite is an advantage.

  • Has good knowledge other integration tools i.e. API and MFT platforms

  • Has good knowledge on the usage of AS2 Adapter and B2BIC, IDOC Adapter, File Adapter, SOAP Adapter, JDBC Adapter, SOAP Adapter, REST and RFC Connections

  • Has good experience on EDI (ANSI/EDIFACT), AS2, B2BIC, RNIF (PIP) and NWBPM

  • Exposed in End to End Integration Scenario after implementing multiple Projects and numerous Service Requests/Enhancements

  • Experienced working with the entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance 

  • Must be able to work independently

  • Must be a team player with excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills

  • Must be comfortable interacting with cross functional teams and IT Development teams

  • Must be able to handle multiple, concurrent assignments in a time-challenging environment

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Typical Experience

  • Relevant experience 5 to 8 years; Experience in similar roles

  • Bachelor's Degree
