Your next challenge will be…

To become a machine builder within an established manufacturing operation in Galway. This is a great opportunity grow with a new business as it ramps to full production and be part of an energetic team building machines for the medical industry.

Your day to day activities will include the following…

• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components
• Select and fit components according to drawings and specifications
• Check output to ensure it’s of the highest quality
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
• Keep records of production quantities and times
• Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts

What do we expect from you?

• Proven experience as an assembler
• Technical knowledge and ability to read 2d and 3d drawings etc.
• Ability in using tools (e.g. torque tools) and machines (e.g. impact drivers)
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
• Mechanical background.

What are we looking for?

• Someone with a mechanical qualification and background
• Someone with a good technical knowledge and great manual dexterity.
• Someone who can read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision
• Someone with Full driver’s license
• Someone who is a self-starter and can work collaboratively with others
