Detailed Description:
The Treasury Manager has broad cash management responsbilities relating to Celestica's Asia operations. Working closely with Celestica's shared services and local finance teams, the Treasury Manager oversees liquidity planning, cash forecasting, receivables factoring, bank facilities management, management reporting and foreign exchange for sites including China, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong. Key to success will be the ability to work effectively with the local Asia teams as well as teams in NA and Europe. Work requires idenfying gaps and inefficiences and developing effective solutions, precedents, and/or policies. Sound decisions are essential for the overall success of functional, division, or company operations. Interacts regularly with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or customers. 

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Reviews forecast to ensure appropriate liquidity. Provides required reporting for the Region. Settles treasury transactions.Consolidates Regional Forecast. Ensures Exposure properly identified. Interfaces with Banking Partners on design of banking structure, review of offering, negotiate pricing. Assists in development of Cash Management and other treasury policies. Ensures clearly communicated to sites. Support implementation of strategy. Supports integration of new sites. Special projects at the request of the management team

Centralized Corporate Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for timely, accurate cash forecasts
  • Manage local bank relationships and funding sources
  • Ensures compliance with policy.
  • Provides assistance in amendments to credit facilities.
  • Reviews reporting and administrative operations.
  • Ensures adequate controls exists.
  • Support Month-end management and external reporting requirements.
  • Project management, as required.
  • Ongoing process review and enhancements.

    Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of financial management and treasury operations
  • Broad knowledge of electronic manufacturing industry
  • CPA or CFA designation preferred
  • Experience with treasury managements system preferred (REVAL)
