Summary:
Provide provide administrative and technical requirements for establishing, implementing and maintaining an ESD Control Program (hereafter referred to as the “Program”), to ensure that static sensitive devices or products are susceptible to 100 volts, 200 volts DCM (conductive volt voltage model), 35 volts, isolated or undamaged. Applicable Standards ESD S20. 20-2014. Role may also include activities to support the success of Celestica product lines by applying quality tools and systems to continuously improve products and processes in the manufacture, inspection, and assembly of the product lines

Detailed Description:
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
  • Establish, document, implement, maintain and verify the compliance of the Program in accordance with the requirements of Standard ANSI/ESD S20.20-2014.
  • Evaluate materials before purchasing them to avoid damaging the product (Release-Validation ESD.xls).
  • Annual review ground system that have an good conditions (Delta)
  • Verify the compliance of the Program in accordance with the requirements of Standard ANSI/ESD S20.20-2014.
  • Maintain the ANSI ESD S20.20 Certification.
  • Analyze defect data and drive root cause corrective action resolution following 8D methodology.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ESD processes and may support teams to prepare for audits
  • Support ESD activities for new product introductions
  • Provide ESD 20.20 criteria guidance following industry and customer specifications

    Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
  • Good understanding of quality standards including ESD20.20 standards
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in providing ESD guidance
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, Power Point.
  • Strong knowledge of shop floor control and quality management documentation systems
  • Have skill in the use of the ESD equipment : Ohmmeter, Advanced ground circuit tester, Charge plate monitor, Surface resistance meter kit, Digital Statistical Field Meter

    Physical Demands:
  • The job works in conditions with frequent exposure (34% - 66%) to noise, odours, dust, drafts, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.
  • Duties may require repetitive lifting of heavy objects (over 5 kg.), repetitive manual movements (e.g., keyboarding), carrying, pushing or pulling light objects, (under 5 kg.), carrying, pushing or pulling heavy objects (over 5 kg.)

  • 4 to 6 years

    Typical Education:
  • High School Graduation. G.E.D. (or equivalent)
