This position is assigned to support specific customers long-term and consists of production line support, sustaining engineering support, and NPI project management support.  Your job is to act as the bridge between production, project management and design engineering to make everything run smoothly.  A key part of this position is customer communication and collaboration, and so a high level of communication skills is important.


Responsibilities include:

  • Be a single point of contact for the customer and subject matter expert for a family of industrial control panels
  • Work with the customer to continue to refine production specifications and execute their product vision for industrial control panels.
  • Managing the introduction of new product to the manufacturing floor and support the first article build phase
  • Also involved in helping manage the customer interface during new product development of industrial control panels
  • Collaborating with engineering during troubleshooting and also during the design phase
  • Managing the End-Of-Life process for parts and products
  • Submitting customer notifications within their QMS (EOL issues, CIP issues, etc.)


Qualified candidates will have experience in:

  • 208VAC, 120VAC industrial power systems
  • 24VDC, 12VDC, 5VDC industrial control power systems
  • Hand controls and displays used in enclosures
  • OEM electrical components and their function per application/specification (overcurrent protection, contactors, relays, etc.)
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, UL 508A
  • Strong background in connectors (Dsub, Harting, Molex, Phoenix, CPC, etc.)
  • Reading schematics
  • Microsoft Office
  • Engineering Change Management
  • Some MRP system exposure
  • Some QMS exposure



6-8 years of relevant experience



Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
