As a Compliance Lead Engineer at Celestica, you will be part of a product development team developing cutting-edge products for our customers. In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to ensure that Celestica’s products meet all applicable regulatory requirements, through both design and testing.


  • Collaborate on projects with a cross-functional team of engineers involved in the specification, design, testing, and development of hardware
  • Create and execute EMI/EMC tests, review test reports, and ensure regulatory compliance and documents are accurate
  • Conduct detailed experimental testing to collect design data and reporting results with first round analysis of data and necessary debug of high-performance networking, storage, server
  • Ensure that Celestica’s products are safe, compliant, operationally effective, and cost effective
  • Support projects in new modeling and simulation techniques for testing hardware
  • Responsible for maintaining the EMC lab as well as test/support equipment, including calibration



  • Experience designing products to meet EMC, safety, and other regulatory requirements
  • Experience performing CAD review of enclosures, connectors, cables, PCBs, and PCBAs for EMC and safety compliance
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with of all associated EMI/EMC laboratory test equipment including: Spectrum Analyzers, Radiofrequency (RF) Amplifiers, Signal Generators, EMI Receivers, Antennas, Directional Couplers, and Power Meters
  • Experienced with in-depth regulatory compliance testing and certification to obtain approvals required for agencies such as FCC, UL, CE, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of worldwide EMC regulations, standards and test methods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment


Typical Education:    
This position requires a BSEE and 8 or more years of experience as a compliance engineer.

Minimal travel is required.
