Detailed Description:

 

The Project Manager, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be responsible for overall execution of projects, processes involved in implementing, planning, issue management, stakeholder management, and scope management.

 

The Project Manager will provide coordination and support to the RPA team and work closely with the IT project teams, development/delivery teams, and the business stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered in a manner that achieves business objectives, while following a defined project management methodology, thus ensuring that the solution implemented is both supportable and sustainable.

 

 

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

 

  • Coordinates and maintains project plans, resources, timelines, and milestone delivery;
  • Ensures proper use of project management methodology, tools and procedures;
  • Ensure proper governance is in place to best meet project objectives;
  • Prepare, manage and track the different phases of projects to schedule and budget with a high quality of output;
  • Develops and delivers progress reports, documentation and presentations;
  • Facilitate discussions to manage/align cross functional teams and/or project stakeholders;
  • Keeps stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.


Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

 

  • Knowledge of or ability to learn Celestica technology, business and IT strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with IT delivery / operations.
  • Excellent Project Management skills.
  • Knowledge of IT analysis, design and development.
  • Change Management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

 

Physical Demands:

 

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
  • Occasional overnight travel is required.


 

Typical Experience:

 

  • Three to six years
     

Typical Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Educational requirements may vary by geography.
