Detailed Description:

This Supply Chain Management role is responsible for the Supplier Quote & Award (SQ&A) Semiconductor Commodity Team within S2C.  The role involves managing BOM Sourcing and Cost Solutions for Bid, Source Plan Set Up for New Awards, Engineering Change Management, Value Engineering and Material Value Proposals and Re-Pricing Services supporting all market segments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver competitive material costing solutions.
  • Achieve all on time delivery commitments for process requests.
  • Strategy development and deployment.
  • Supervision, training & development of Semiconductor Commodity Team based in multiple locations.
  • Other duties, as assigned.



  • Extensive knowledge of Celestica’s global supply chain including strategic policies & objectives.  
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the marketplace conditions for electronic components in industry pricing, technology, supply/demand and emerging trends.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills to enable ongoing incremental results.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management for a flawless executionty to in
  • Delivers flawless execution with an effective management system.
  • Ability to proactively resolve complex issues & problems internally and externally.
  • Relentless focus on continuous improvement.
  • Significant skills required in multi-tasking and time management.
  • Ability to effectively lead, manage, train lead, influence and motivate a diverse group of team members, based in multiple countries. This includes worldwide guidance and support during the product sourcing process in terms of securing competitive costs and commercial terms
  • Able to demonstrate persuasive skills and negotiations skills while building positive relationships with our Suppliers and Commodity Managers who have a significant impact on the success of the organization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal clients.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.  Advanced Excel skills would be an asset.


Experience & Education:

  • 6 -10 years of relevant experience in supply chain with team leader / manager experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering or Business



  • Up to 20% travel across various Celestica sites
