About this opportunity:

If successful, the candidate for this role will be working on enhancing, Integrating and supporting of many of the emerging technologies the Employee Collaboration team is responsible for.  These include (but are not limited to) Mobility, Cloud Infrastructure, the G Suite platform (Google Apps).


Students should be currently enrolled in a Computer Science or Computer\Electrical Engineering program and have completed their 3rd year. We are looking for team players who possess good communication skills (written and verbal), are able to learn quickly, are self motivated and take initiative. Technical knowledge and prior development experience would be a desired asset but not necessarily a requirement.


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Web Technologies, HTTP/HTTPS, XML, JSON, etc would be an asset

  • Basic knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle concepts

  • Some degree of development experience to include any of the following : Java, Javascript, Google Apps Script, .NET, pHp, SQL, Oracle DB, Microsoft PowerShell, Microsoft Excel, etc, would be considered an asset

  • Basic knowledge of Networking Technologies and concepts

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Desire to make a difference and solve problems



  • Involvement in the design/development/support of new and existing applications (that relate to the management of both on premise and cloud platforms - such as Google Apps Script, Google App Engine, Microsoft Azure)

  • Assist in the gathering of business and technical requirements and data from source systems, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts & writing specification and support documents

  • Perform routine management/support/reporting tasks as they relate to systems (both out of the box and custom development) under our control

  • Working with other team(s) in system troubleshooting of the problems and support issues.

  • Support for Chrome, Internet Explorer and other browser based technologies

Education: currently enrolled in an official University Internship/co-op program completing 3rd year of a Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering program.
