About this opportunity
The Computer System Validation Intern will work with all levels of the Celestica Global Computer System Validation team to support Global and Health Tech business IT system and software development projects. The role includes working with various team members to ensure the department project and associated records, such as monthly Master Validation and project validation plans and associated deliverables are routed, approved and maintained in the electronic validation management system. Assisting in the preparation and documentation of Steering Committee meeting minutes and working with Global Health Tech QA in the qualification of suppliers for software’s and system products and services. 


Preferred Skills:
●    Experience with electronic document and record management applications 
●    Software and system QA/Validation testing experience
●    Ability to take detailed notes and meeting minutes 
●    Strong organizational skills required 
●    Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external parties
●    Presentation skills 

●    Providing training and CA Validator expertise to non-CSV validation team members
●    Documenting Steering Committee and Design Review meeting minutes 
●    Executing verification and validation testing as required per approved plans and scripts 
●    Assisting in the completion of project deliverables 
●    Uploading and routing documents for approval for team members 
●    Contacting supplier and obtaining supplier qualification material

Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:
●    Duties of this position are performed in a normal office with exposure to manufacturing environments.
●    Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
●    Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc).

Education: Currently enrolled in a University internship program, completing 3rd year in a 4-year program preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. Please provide a copy of your transcript with your application.
