This Supply Chain Management role is the Project Manager for the setup of the Global Source Plan for new awards/contracts (New Product Introduction (NPI)).


Responsibilities include:

- This position will proactively manage a customer account for the sourcing plan for a new product launch and recommending a sourcing strategy.

- Acts as the primary interface between the client and Celestica (CLS) and will proactively managing client communications to ensure achievement of planned client objectives.

- Effectively drive teams and processes with accountability for the quality of work delivered by internal teams ensuring team delivers price and margin commitments.

- Works with the site teams to plan and monitor activities to ensure that product information quality meets requirements and that projects/programs are on schedule

- Acts as a client advocate within CLS to drive prioritization of projects and responses to problems/issues.

- Influences others outside of the team to ensure goals are met and resolves conflicts in an effective manner

- Solicits performance feedback and communicates information to internal teams and departments.

- Receives and resolves client issues and complaints.

- Prepares, distributes and analyzes client surveys and self-assessments.

- Provides performance reporting and analysis for monthly Operations Reviews analyzing performance relative to targets.



- Extensive knowledge of the complete supply chain and relentlessly drive resolution of issues in any area.

- Extensive knowledge of a manufacturing environment, materials and processes, & shared services.

- Prefer knowledge of electronics and built to print components that will enable very competitive outcomes.

- Good understanding of how business applications integrate as is applicable in SCM.

- Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills to enable ongoing incremental results.

- Ability to proactively resolve complex issues & problems internally and externally.

- Relentless focus on continuous improvement.

 - Interact effectively with all levels of management for a flawless execution.

- Significant skills required in multi-tasking and time management.

- Ability to effectively lead, influence and motivate a diverse group of team members, potentially based in multiple countries.

- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.

-Able to work assertively cross- functionally and with other sites to achieve objectives.

- Extensive external contacts with consultants, associations and other companies for benchmarking and networking.  



 - 10+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience

- Experience supporting new business materials quotation activities that enable a high level of customer confidence in our capabilities.

- Demonstrated passionate project management experience that enables guaranteed results.



Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Supply Chain Management or equivalent education & experience
