Detailed Description:
Celestica's treasury team is seeking a dynamic individual for a Treasury Manager opening within the team. As the Treasury Manager, you will demonstrate a solid understanding of principles of corporate finance and risk management with associated processes and controls. The initial focus of this role will be in foreign exchange, debt management and liquidity planning activities but the scope of the role may expand and shift as required. It is expected that every Corporate Treasury team member will develop familiarity with all areas of treasury operations. We are looking for a candidate that has a strong passion for finance with deep financial modeling, Bloomberg, FX trading platform and treasury management systems experience. The candidate should have strong analytical thinking and an interest in global currency markets.  
 
Responsibilities may include but not limited to: 

  • Trade recommendation and execution for balance sheet and cash flow foreign currency hedging programs
  • Real-time quantitative analysis of hedging performance with a focus on identifying areas for improving program effectiveness and efficiency
  • Preparing monthly FX/hedging results summary 
  • Evaluating, monitoring, and communicating banking counterparty performance
  • Monitor debt portfolio and related external reporting  
  • Partnering with the cash management team to support global liquidity needs 
  • Cross-functional collaboration with internal groups such as legal, corporate reporting, tax
  • Support banking and financing structures 
  • Forecasting and analysis as required
  • Support internal and external reporting requirements
  • Ongoing review and enhancement of processes and policies 
  • Other responsibilities may include cash, credit and insurance management as well as treasury projects

 

Experience: 

  • 6+ years of relevant experience 
  • In depth knowledge in the area of treasury and some experience in FP&A or corporate reporting 

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Accounting designation, MBA or CFA, CTP
