Summary

The Technical Program Manager acts as the primary interface between the customer and Celestica for managing the technology transfer programs of Printed Circuit Board assemblies in the commercial and military aerospace market segments to achieve the planned revenue and profits and Customer Satisfaction for the program.

 

Responsibilities:

This Technical Program Manager position is responsible for day-to-day activities of the customer account to ensure that product deliveries are on time and that projects/programs are on schedule and to develop action plans to correct out of plan conditions.

 

Responsibilities include managing continuous contact with the customer and focusing on the customer requirements and the interests of Celestica (CLS).

  • Assign and coordinate tasks related to the introduction of new processes/projects within both the origin and destination sites including generation of the transfer checklist, gap analysis master plan/scope, update report(s), project timeline(s) and action item lists.
  • Project management duties to include leading, tracking, follow-up, and monitoring key network project activities to ensure alignment with expectations and agreed-upon timeline(s).
  • Provide technical Engineering support for product transfers to domestic and global locations.
  • Responsible for processing of change requests and review of quality and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication skills facilitating successful interface with customer technical/engineering teams.
  • Manage risk by advising the site management teams of the technical risks related to the technology transfers
  • Work closely with the engineering teams to fully understand scope and requirements for technology transfer products
  • Support customer in validation, qualification, and production efforts during the applicable transition phases including review and approval of process validation and qualification documents. 

 

Experience:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Previous Experience as a Technical Program Manager
  • Previous experience in product and process transfer
  • Previous experience in the commercial and military aerospace industry with electrical and mechanical components (PCBA’s, Sub Assemblies, etc.)
  • Experience transitioning manufacturing of product to both domestic and international locations
  • Excellent communication skills facilitating the successful interface with customer technical/engineering teams.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field, (electrical, mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, process)
  • Or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

Travel could be 10-25%

This position is located in Tuscon, AZ and not eligible for remote work.
