I joined Celestica 12 years ago and today I am a Customer Program Management Manager. Throughout my career, I have worked in Program Management and each day I am challenged, and provided with, opportunities to develop in my role. Although my focus is on Celestica’s business in Spain, I have the opportunity to work with, and learn from, people in Europe, Asia and North America - gaining a vast global perspective. My most memorable experience at Celestica was leading an incredible team in managing a customer transfer in record time. Everyone at Celestica has a positive attitude and is deeply committed to our customer’s success. I am so proud to be part of this team.

It’s been 17 years since I began my career at Celestica, and over the course of those years I have had the opportunity to experience a variety of roles in many different locations. My manager was a great mentor and coached me regularly to help me develop and give me opportunities to work in the areas that I was interested in – today I am proud to be the IT director for the Global Shop Floor team. Working at Celestica has given me the opportunity to interact with a large number of high-tech customers, helping me to advance my skills and move forward in my career. There’s also a good mix of experienced professionals and junior employees with fresh ideas. One of my most proud accomplishments was being part of the Celestica team in Thailand to successfully develop and deploy our own software to all Celestica sites, putting the Asia IT team on the map and gaining recognition from the IT industry like CIO 100 and InformationWeek 500.

The education I’ve received in this collaborative work environment has been invaluable. Celestica is a company that really cares about developing people to their full potential. Through Celestica’s community giving initiative, I also work with other Celestica volunteers to run a program that empowers high school students to develop critical thinking skills in entrepreneurship. I am proud to work for a company that encourages employees to make a meaningful impact in their chosen field and as a volunteer in the community.
