Summary
We're looking for a Quality Technical Support to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards throughout the entire manufacturing process, from in-process checks to final inspection. You'll perform detailed cosmetic, visual, and mechanical inspections, meticulously document your findings, and reject any non-compliant products. A key part of this role is proactively communicating quality concerns and defects to production supervisors and management, helping to initiate corrective actions when needed.
Detailed Description
- Inspect products at both in-process and final stages to ensure quality levels are met.
- Perform thorough cosmetic, visual, and mechanical inspections on all products within specified timelines.
- Monitor the quality of in-process and outgoing products.
- Document all inspection outcomes in designated systems and daily records.
- Conduct regular quality assessments on spare orders and ship-along parts before shipping.
- Reject products and materials that do not meet quality expectations.
- Interpret customer and internal specifications for cosmetic and workmanship requirements.
- Follow inspection checklists rigorously during all inspections.
- Provide timely feedback on defects to production supervisors to prevent recurrence.
- Issue Quality Alerts via email to trigger internal corrective/preventive actions.
- Resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Participate in quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop and maintain inspection reports.
- Urgently communicate any quality or compliance concerns.
- Report escalations and concerns to your supervisor.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in outgoing inspection or manufacturing.
- Preferably a Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineering (fresh graduates with CGPA 2.80+ are welcome, and applicants from other science/technology courses are also encouraged).
- A strong passion for quality and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency with various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey findings and recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player mindset.
- Exceptional visual inspection skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
