Detailed Description

•    Handle team and drive task given
•    Analysis, monitor and resolve gated material
•    Attend meeting and communicate with customer
•    Run CTB (Clear to build/shortages) report from Rapid Response / Kinaxis;
•    Release weekly CTB for all WO (work order) & Planner Order 16 weeks demand;
•    Release PO conversion to buyer after MPS Gap approves. Will block those problematic PR like short LT, EOL part, part change and call old rev PR, and etc.;
•    To check the PR block and review before release to the buyer. Discuss with EC team/Program to resolve issues;
•    Review demand loading every week with Planner/Program. Understand changes of loading
•    Quarterly review LT profile for Safety stock suggestion;
•    Submit form for PIR update to site document control;
•    Check and provide depletion date to EC team for TCO implementation on part changes;
•    Discuss and work with E&O/Program team for excess material;
•    Recognize urgent order need for production and inform buyer minimum quantity to close monthly revenue;
•    Perform CTB simulation for urgent orders that are not yet loaded in SAP. 
•    Attend Daily GYAT meeting with Production/Planning/Warehouse team;
•    Release weekly CTB for NPI model or upon request;
•    Follow up urgent customer consignment incoming;
•    Arrange weekly cycle count for customer consignment part;
•    Do prioritization for urgent part to buyer.
•    Follow up urgent shipment with logistic and buyer
•    Follow up urgent material with warehouse
•    Drive SMI/JIT optimization process with buyer
•    Do localization and regionalization report

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Job Requirement:
•    Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management/Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce/Logistic or equivalent
•    At least 5 years of working experience as a Material Planner; Inventory, Planning
•    Familiar with SAP and Rapid Response (Kinaxis) system;
•    Strong analytical and problem solving-skills;
•    Applicant must be willing to work in Senai;
•    Preferably Senior Executives/Junior Manager specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
•    Willing to learn, good time management, able handle stress, team work, work independently with minimum supervision
•    Preference able speak and understand well in Chinese, English and Malay

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
•    Basic knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials and processes.
•    Basic knowledge of production planning fundamentals, scheduling, materials requirements planning techniques and manufacturing control systems
•    Basic knowledge of purchasing principles, techniques and philosophies.
•    Knowledge of basic computer applications such as WORD, Excel, PowerPoint and multiple business applications.
•    Basic understanding of customer needs.
•    Good analytical and statistical skills.
•    Ability to plan strategically for the coordinated build and delivery of one or several products.
•    Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
