We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Design Lead Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Design Lead Engineer, you will design and develop industrial control panels and AC boxes, work with customers to refine production specifications, and execute their product vision. Additionally, you will develop testing solutions and checklists for products, consult with manufacturing to resolve issues and improve product manufacturability, and update documents of existing designs to resolve issues such as EOL components, manufacturability issues, and customer requests.

Responsibilities:

• Schematic creation for new product design of industrial control panel / AC Box
• Work with the customer to refine production specifications and execute their product vision
• Develop testing solutions and checklists for products
• Consult with Manufacturing to resolve issues and improve product manufacturability
• Update documents of existing designs to resolve issues such as EOL components, manufacturability issues, and customer requests

Qualifications:

• Design of 208VAC, 480VAC, 120VAC industrial power systems
• Design of 24VDC, 12VDC, 5VDC industrial control power systems
• Hand controls and displays used in enclosures
• Specifying OEM components per application/specification (computers, switches, overcurrent protection, contactors, etc.)
• Familiarity with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, UL 508A, IPC 620 preferred

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience in electrical design
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
