Summary

As a Senior Executive, you will lead the end-to-end material readiness strategy to ensure seamless production execution. You are responsible for optimizing inventory health, mitigating supply chain risks via Kinaxis/SAP, and serving as the primary liaison between Engineering, Procurement, and Global Customers to meet revenue targets.

Detailed Description

  • CTB Management: Drive the weekly Clear-to-Build (CTB) process using Kinaxis RapidResponse, providing visibility for a 13-week rolling demand for all Work Orders and Planned Orders.
  • Simulation & Risk Mitigation: Perform advanced CTB simulations for "What-If" scenarios and urgent, un-forecasted orders to assess impact on production and revenue.
  • PR/PO Governance: Oversee the conversion of Purchase Requisitions (PR) to Buyers; proactively identify and resolve roadblocks related to short lead times (LT), End-of-Life (EOL) components, and revision changes.
  • Lifecycle Planning: Manage Engineering Change (EC) implementations by providing accurate depletion dates to minimize Excess & Obsolete (E&O) exposure.
  • Structural Optimization: Conduct quarterly Lead Time profile reviews and propose strategic Safety Stock levels to balance service levels with working capital.
  • VMI/SMI Programs: Drive the optimization of Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI) and Just-in-Time (JIT) processes to improve inventory turns.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Facilitate weekly demand loading reviews with Program Managers and Planners to analyze forecast volatility.
  • Production Readiness: Lead daily GYAT (Get Your Act Together) meetings with Production, Warehouse, and Planning to resolve immediate material constraints.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the supply chain focal point in weekly customer meetings, managing consignment material audits, cycle counts, and shipment priorities.
  • Maintain Master Data integrity by submitting PIR updates to Site Document Control.
  • Generate high-level Localization and Regionalization reports to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Orchestrate urgent material movements by collaborating with Logistics and Warehousing to ensure monthly revenue closure.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

  • Experience: Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Material Planning or Inventory Control. (Note: Experience with NPI and high-mix/low-volume environments is highly preferred).

  • Languages: Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluency in Mandarin is required to facilitate communication with regional stakeholders and vendors.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in Senai and support overtime during peak production or month-end closing when necessary.

 

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Advanced proficiency in SAP and Kinaxis RapidResponse.

    • Expert Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Data Modeling).

 

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    • Exceptional time management and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
