Analyst, IT Solutions

Summary

The Analyst, IT Solutions is a member of the Enterprise PDM solutions CoE team, and will work on PDM solutions which are based on a platform of Dassault Enovia 3DEXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will work with the business stakeholders to understand various business requirements,other application CoE’s to interlock on the cross application dependencies and with celestica IT services vendorsas necessary to support the business objectives.

the sucessful candidate is also responsible to work with the Various teams within the Enterprise PDM Solutions CoE and other IT Platform CoE subject matter experts to facilitate their adoption and will work with business customers to resolve and remediate the issues encountered in their usage of the platform to identify problem areas and root causes of incidents to provide proactive solutions

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Gather and document business requirements by engaging with business partners
• Work with various IT teams and the business partners to deliver IT solutions
• Respond to system problems by analyzing the issue and determining the next course of action
• Provide system training to end users
• Participate in various IT projects as required
• work with business teams to capture requirements, translate requirements to business processes within the platform and the 3DEXPERIENCE eco-system based on fit-gap assessment(including modules of data neutralisation, Engineering and manufacturing BOMS, Change Management, Classifications, Issue Management, , SAP integrations, HPS desin process etc)
• Conduct and participate in workshops to capture user requirements
• Work with the support team to troubleshoot issues (technical, functional ) and provide resolutions to business issues
• Provide PDM training as necessary to other members on the team, SME's and end users on the platform best practices and functionality

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

• Strong customer service orientation
• Good analytical, technical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation (including flow charting) skills.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle concepts and practices.
• Good knowledge of the business area to be supported and a good understanding of its associated business processes.
• Basic to good coding skills in specified programming languages.
• Understanding of interrelations between IT components (software, OS, databases, network, servers, etc.)
• Good understanding of end to end business process from HPS design to release and manufacturing.
• Good understanding of PDM data management and data release processes.
• Very good data neutralisation experience to load PDM data for customers.
• Hands on experience in PDM data management, EBOM, MBOM, data neutralisation, SAP interfacing, MES interfacing etc.

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Typical Experience

• 1 to 3 years of relevant hands experience in similar roles and similar industry

• Experiece of relevant processes in celestica is a advantage.

Typical Education

• Bachelors Degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Educational Requirements may vary by Geography

• Desirable to have a background and education in electronics.
