Detailed Description
Celestica (Thailand) Ltd. in Laem Chabang, Chonburi, is seeking a talented Lead Process Engineer SMT&Assembly. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading the continuous improvement of the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and backend assembly production process, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Optimize and maintain the SMT and backend assembly production process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions

Conduct process validation and capability studies to ensure manufacturing standards are met

Provide technical expertise and support to the production team, troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and new product introductions

Analyse production data, identify trends, and recommend strategies to enhance productivity and quality

Develop and implement process control plans, work instructions, and other documentation to standardize best practices

Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with business objectives

Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- Advanced knowledge in engineering, business, organization design, operational and quality processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge in appropriate industry standards such as ISO, TL, QS, Baldrige
Typical Experience
-
Degree in Engineering, with a focus on Manufacturing, Industrial, or Production Engineering

Minimum 5 years of experience in a lead process engineering role, preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry

Expertise in SMT production processes, including reflow soldering, screen printing, and component placement, X-ray, Press fit, AOI.

Good command in English communication.

Proficient in the use of data analysis tools and techniques to identify and solve complex problems

Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
