Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Analyst to support the organization's financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes. The FP&A Analyst will work closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making, improve financial performance, and support business growth.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Analyze financial results and identify key drivers of performance, variances, trends, and risks.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business planning.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Partner with department leaders to monitor spending, evaluate business performance, and improve financial accountability.
  • Conduct profitability, revenue, cost, and scenario analyses to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes by providing financial analysis and reporting.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations to improve results.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities, capital investments, inventory management and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Improve and automate financial reporting processes and data analysis where possible.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems and reports.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools (e.g., SAP, Anaplan)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis techniques.

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
  • Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc)
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required

Typical Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a related analytical role in a manufacturing environment
  • MNC exposure is a plus.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

Typical Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
