Detailed Description

Manage Master Data in ERP system to enable operation, support business decisions and ensure efficient use of data. Responsible for receiving, analyzing, and maintaining requested commercial data in ERP system including Purchasing Information, Vendor Information, and Customer Information. Ensure data completeness for PO execution, analyze business impact to align with objectives, and verify data quality. Manage stakeholders, including sites and functional teams, communication and expectations to enforce processes, resolve dependencies, and foster collaboration on data approval, integrity, and opportunities. Collaborate with Commodity Managers and internal stakeholders to maintain purchasing information accuracy and integrity. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure controlled, clean, and consistent data. Provide mentoring and training to the team on all job activities, including managing challenges, and offer supervisory support for second-level upload verification, key activities, procedural issues, and direction.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Good understanding of global business environment and supply chain management

  • Skills in usage of computer tools and ERP systems

  • Good knowledge on commercial purchasing terms., Supplier quotation, Supplier PO processing and Supplier management experience.

  • Working Knowledge on Master Data management and processing.

  • Ability to do business impact analysis, trends and gaps analysis with improvement proposal.

  • Assertive communication across teams, effective training delivery and mentoring technical skills.

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position in a normal office environment

  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

  • Repetitive manual movement (e.g., data entry, using a computer, mouse, using calculator, etc.) are frequently required. 

Typical Experience

  • Two to four years relevant experience.

Typical Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Business / Engineering) or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
