Engineering Graduate Development Program

The Celestica Engineering Graduate Development Program (EGDP) is for candidates who aspire to become engineering leaders. Over a period of 36 months, graduates complete three rotations within dynamic areas of their core engineering discipline, along with Support Engineering (Manufacturing, Quality, Product Assurance, Organizational Excellence), and Program Management. The EGDP program will give you the opportunity to work in unique, challenging and constantly evolving roles that are critical to our global business. Each rotation will range in scope, allowing you to showcase your talents to a broad range of colleagues and executives, while giving you the experience necessary to thrive in senior roles. You will have the opportunity to participate in professional development programs and networking events. You will be supported by a dedicated program manager, peer partner, and executive mentor. After completing the rotations, individuals will build their careers with Celestica in areas of the enterprise where their capabilities can be best leveraged for organizational impact and personal career interest.
Candidates will work under the mentorship of a senior engineer in one of the following disciplines;
Electrical Engineering - As a member of the design and development group, you will perform feasibility analysis, develop test requirements develop hardware architecture, develop designs and schematics for new products, assist in new test solution bring-up, prototyping, and product realization. These projects will primarily be in the Aerospace & Defense and Health Tech segment areas.
Computer Engineering - Test Development roles involve designs, development and implementation of automatic test equipment and test programs using NI Labview or Python scripting (in Windows or Linux environments) for product testing and design verification which ensure robust and high quality assembled products in manufacturing. They may specialize in many areas but are generally categorized into Structural (verification of an assembly process by testing each of its smaller elements and their interconnects) and Functional (verification that a design will perform its main purpose).
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (graduating Spring 2026)
- Minimum 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale (B+) (Transcript to be provided)
- Interest in an engineering role with a path to leadership
- Experience in Microsoft Office and design tools specific to their discipline, eg, (Altium, Solidworks etc)
- Scripting Skills in Python, BASH in Windows and/or Linux environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability and willingness to be proactive, take initiative, drive change, and provide solutions
- Strong team player with impeccable work ethic
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Previous engineering internships and/or co-ops are required

Physical Demands
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Salary
The range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including but not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate.
The annual salary is determined by the years of study completed and is non-negotiable as per company policy.
Annual Salary: $65,000-$75,000 CAD/Year
