Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team, specializing in PCB Assembly, Level 6 through Level 10 system assembly, and Level 11 rack integration. This role is essential in driving operational excellence, leading cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong balance of technical acumen, leadership, and customer engagement skills.
Detailed Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for understanding the customer’s technical roadmap and identifying and managing all new customer-specific process development projects.
- Work with each manufacturing location to coordinate technical aspects for all new customer specific process development projects.
- Develop the scope of all technical work, coordinate the team, direct work assignments and assist with problem resolution for the full customer product life cycle support for all manufacturing technical issues related to the customer’s product(s) from product conception to product obsolescence.
- Evaluate potential manufacturing impact for each design concept.
- Process Subject Matter Expert SMT/PCB Assembly, Level 6 through Level 10 system assembly, and Level 11+ rack integration.
- Responsible for the best practice standard development, participate in Industry organizations for developing the standards and provide training and application support globally.
Skills/Experience
Project Management
- Ability to manage/lead complex, multiple line engineering projects that may also involve other functions
- Demonstrate solid understanding of the technical, financial and people aspects of the project
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and production, to achieve program objectives.
- Able to create a project/change management plan and ensure that the project is delivered within the assigned time and budget
- Ability to recognize project barriers and develop mitigation plans Leadership

- Mentor and lead peer engineering teams to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, guiding teams in adopting best practices in electronics manufacturing

- Collaborate across departments to implement robust, cost-effective solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging industry trends and technologies to enhance process capabilities Customer Interaction/Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary technical interface for internal and external customers, addressing concerns and presenting solutions.
- Conduct technical reviews, process demonstrations, and progress presentations tailored to customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and ongoing business success.

Physical Demands
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Typical Experience
- 7 to 10 years of related experience;Experience in similar job roles
Typical Education
Bachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
