Summary

Incumbents apply in-depth knowledge in a specific area of specialization. Work is performed within established professional standards and practices. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors and a considerable degree of judgement. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may have a negative impact on the division’s/department’s operations, schedules, and/or performance goals. Works under minimum Supervision. Seeks approval from others on matters outside of job/role scope. Receives instruction on specific assignment objectives and possible solutions. Unusual problems are solved jointly with manager. Work is reviewed for application of sound technical judgment. May lead a work group or project team consisting of technical and support staff. Builds internal and external relationships, with emphasis on those that facilitate the achievement of job/role accountabilities, such as relationships with key suppliers, customers and internal service.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Develops, and implements new systems and processes to support SCM business requirements.
  • Leads or participates in the implementation of ERP / decision support systems and solutions.
  • Designs and documents specifications for new systems, system enhancements or interfaces. Works with IT todevelop and implement programs.
  • Provides system, process, and training support for new acquisitions in areas of database development..
  • Maintains processes that ensure the accuracy of ERP systems.
  • Conducts training on processes and procedures that affect data integrity.
  • Reviews, recommends and implements enhancements / new systems required by business. Implements andensures adherence to SCM policies and practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • The Data Analyst is responsible for accelerating the development of analytics using Excel, Power BI & other platforms.
  • This role will bring together data from different sources to provide metrics and insights that enable visibility andimprovements to Supply Chain Operations
  • Work collaboratively with business partners at varying levels to identify, design and deliver reporting & analyticssolutions
  • Provides analysis, tracking of data and ongoing reporting, ad hoc analysis and partnership to share insights within thebusiness
  • Uses data to highlight key trends and collaborate with businesses to identify causes, costs and potentialinterventions/solutions
  • Lead multiple project activities simultaneously where prioritization skills are critical
  • Engaged in the team’s Lean Business Process objectives to provide continuous improvement

Physical Demands

Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

 

Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

 

Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

 

Frequent overnight travel may be required.

Salary

The stated range includes Base Salary and target Short-Term Incentive (STI) compensation only. A comprehensive benefits package is offered in addition to this range.

The range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including but not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate.

Salary Base Range: $74K-$99K
