Summary
Develops and leads creative pricing solutions to enable the Connectivity & Cloud Solutions (CCS) Global Accounts strategy ensuring competitiveness in the markets that we serve.
Global Account Mission: Grow Hyperscaler partnerships through innovation and expand Enterprise market share by optimizing OEM relationships and exploring new emerging markets.
Pricing Strategy Consultant Role: Develop and execute effective pricing strategies across products, markets, and customers by providing strategic insights and analytical recommendations to management.
Detailed Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Leads the analysis of current and historical pricing data, identifying key trends and optimal pricing strategies to enhance Celestica's competitiveness and success in winning business.
- Acts as a focal point for review of Celestica pricing commitments.
- Upon request, reviews pricing for consistency, competitiveness (benchmarks) in relation to the company’s financial goals.
- Lead cross functional teams in the development of pricing strategies by market segment, geography and line of business.
- Develop customer specific price models to yield competitive prices and supports Global Account customers in “what if” or “give to get” portfolio pricing scenarios.
- Provide pricing scenarios in a clear and concise manner in executive format using MS office tools.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively source information, obtain approvals, build relationships, and provide sufficient influence to achieve success
- Strong data management and analytical skills with strict attention to detail and the ability to develop business insights and effectively communicate them to the business
- Creative problem solver and strategic thinker with a strong work ethic
- Must have a strong understanding of financial principles, including cost structures, profit margins, revenue forecasting, and financial modeling. This enables the consultant to assess the financial impact of pricing strategies. In addition, must have complete understanding of Celestica’s P&L pricing process
- Must have a deep understanding of various pricing models (e.g., cost-plus, value-based, competitive, dynamic pricing) and the ability to develop and implement pricing strategies that align with the client's business objectives and market conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage workload and teams across time-zones and cultures
Physical Demands
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
- Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.)
- Occasional overnight travel is required
Typical Experience
- Ten plus years of relevant experience
- Experience in Celestica’s Global Pricing process is highly preferred
Typical Education
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- Advanced MS office skills
Salary Expectations and Benefit Summary
The salary range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including by not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate. Salary Range: $119k-$165k Annually.
Celestica provides eligible employees (those who are scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week) with a range of benefits including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, short and long term disability, life insurance, voluntary benefits and a 401k plan with company match.

Location: This is a remote position, with travel as necessary. We are open to considering candidates close to any of our US locations in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, Oregon or California as well as locations near major airports such as the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Pacific Coast. We are also open to candidates close to our Canada locations such as Toronto or Newmarket.
