Qualifications

  • Experienced within Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) environment
  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring data, maintaining systems, designing and planning enhancements within a complex environment.
  • Experienced with collecting and monitor data from measuring instruments, ensuring data integrity that are in processing and transit from and to multiple systems.
  • Manufacturing Operations Management: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, quality control, and data collection.
  • Process Improvement: Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and develop solutions to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Project Management: Experience leading and managing projects from inception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and translate technical information to non-technical personnel.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics and Automation Systems, MES, or related field
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management in manufacturing.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a technical project manager in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents, i.e., electrical schematics, blue prints and drawings.
  • Strong understanding of BOM Management.
  • Leadership and team management skills to schedule, motivate, and guide engineers.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address project challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proven ability to document and share technical information clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

  • As a Technical Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with the proprietary manufacturing technologies and contribute to the development of solutions that align with industry standards, ensuring safe and quality production.
  • Your primary responsibilities will be coordinating, tracking, scheduling, and managing the diverse components of Shop Floor Controls projects in order to execute these projects effectively, efficiently, on time, and on budget.
  • As a Technical Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with the proprietary manufacturing technologies and contribute to the development of solutions that align with industry standards, ensuring safe and quality production.
  • You will play a key role in optimizing the manufacturing process by monitoring and enhancing manufacturing systems, collecting, managing and analyzing data, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring real-time data monitoring and data flow across a complex enterprise manufacturing environment.
  • Collecting, analyzing and organizing data used for manufacturing.
  • Projects you will be managing include, but are not limited to: Management Execution Systems.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to deadlines and resource limitations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify, and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including engineers, developers, and support staff, to allocate resources and ensure project tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues to senior management as needed.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions to clients and internal stakeholders regularly through status reports, meetings, and presentations.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate project performance, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements.
  • Work with engineers to develop and document technical specifications.
  • Participate in technical discussions with several workstreams and customer.
  • Team Management and Leadership Motivate and guide a team of system engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide clear expectations and support.
  • Client Relationship Management Build strong relationships with clients, clearly communicating project progress, scope, and challenges.
  • Manage client expectations and proactively address concerns. Gather and document client requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Present project status and updates to internal resources and clients in a clear and concise manner.

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. 
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
