Summary

The Specialist, IT Solutions provides business, process and technical expertise to teams that are responsible for assessing, designing, delivering and supporting IT manufacturing solutions. This role acts as a key functional link between the business community and the IT/development teams globally, focusing on leveraging software tools to optimize business processes within the Electronics Manufacturing industry. 

Detailed Description

  • Work with business and IT users globally to identify business needs, define scope, requirements, identifying key issues, designing & presenting the solution, testing, system implementation, and training.
  • Liaises with the business community to understand business processes and defines how software tools can be leveraged to optimize the business process.
  • Manage projects and assist development teams in understanding requirements and application design.
  • Create and maintain necessary documentation, such as blueprint, solution design, test scripts, user manual, and system setup.
  • Assist users on system setup and configuration during implementation.
  • Provide 2nd-level support service to site IT/Business Teams.

  • Bachelor Degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
