Summary

Specialist, Operations Quality, Celestica LLC, Richardson, TX:
Lead process and procedure definition. Maintain a continuous flow of products to customers. Oversee product and material quality from New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production. Develop quality control plans for materials, processes, and products. Monitor and report key performance indicators related to quality. Drive continuous improvement to benefit customers, Celestica LLC., and suppliers. Develop and maintain internal quality systems, procedures, work instructions, and workmanship standards. Lead process and procedure definition, including product, system, and supplier audits. Conduct compliance and safety audits. Implement corrective actions in compliance with industry standards such as the International Organization for Standardization. Implement engineering changes and provide supplier process change notifications. Enhance quality skills and product knowledge through technical training. Participate in quality strategy deployment.


Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, $125,590.00 per year.

Minimum Requirements

Must have a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Technology, or a related technical field, and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.


Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Quality tools, including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and 8D methodology;
  • Institute Printed Circuits (IPC) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements, including ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and IPC-A-640;
  • Generating and presenting data in reports utilizing Google Issue Tracker;
  • Conduct functional testing using OpenTest and Agile methodologies;
  • Manufacturing and inspecting equipment used to support artificial intelligence applications, including fiber optic cables used for routing; and,
  • Utilizing Six Sigma and Kaizen.

 

Travel required up to 20% both domestically and internationally.
