About this opportunity:

They get exposed and engaged to product development, from concept to prototype and release to production.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of heat transfer, mechanical design (Creo, Solidworks)

  • Ability to learn new tools in design and testing

  • Capability to effectively work cross-functionally

  • Excellent time management

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Excellent analytical, report writing and problem solving skills

  • Read and understand engineering drawings

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Activities and Highlights:

Activities: 

  • Help with design, work with experts in the field, help in testing, documenting test results

  • Interns will engage in frequent hands-on lab work, including the operation of power tools (such as drills, dremels, etc).

 

Key highlights of role:

  • Exposed to product definition and development for Hyperscale products

  • Exposed to full life cycle of product development in Networking, storage and servers

  • Expose to high end thermal design from air cooling to liquid cooling

Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
