Summary

Job Overview:

  1. This job is expected to build system architecture for Networking, Server & Storage products:
  2. Talk with the external and the front end team, understand market/customer requirements to define system architecture for Networking, Server & Storage products.

Detailed Description

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Lead technical proposal for customer RFQs
  2. Define white box products’ architecture and elaborate detail requirements
  3. Following technology trend and contribute to product roadmap definition.
  4. Lead system level building blocks
  5. Consultant and lead complex issue debug and troubleshooting;

 

Experience:

  1. 10+ years electrical design experience.
  2. Familiar with Rack-mounted Networking, Server & Storage product architecture.
  3. Familiar with Intel and AMD x86 platform
  4. Familiar with some mainstream chipsets or solutions such as PCIe switch, SAS expander, Ethernet controller
  5. Advanced understanding of relevant technologies, specifically Edge Computing, NVMEoF, DDR4/5, PCIe Gen3/4/5, 100G/200G Ethernet.
  6. Understand high-speed design, PAM56G,112G&224G Serders design experience is highly recognized.   
  7. Advanced understanding of vendor products and competitor's offerings.
  8. Knowledge on software and FPGA/CPLD, understand software interface; familiar with FPGA and protocol will be a plus.
  9. Has good experience in multi-layer PCB design

  • Understand key components and familiar with major suppliers
  • Has good insight on different system solutions and sense on cost.
  • Understand product, mechanical, thermal, signal integrity, compliance requirement and software interface. Can balance different functions.
  • Good communication skills to lead team on technical proposal and system definition.
  • Excellent communication skills. Must have team work spirit.
  •  Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills;

Typical Experience

  • 7 to 10 years of related experience;Experience in similar job roles

Typical Education

Bachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
