JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads HR matters on site level with focus on employee relations and direct labour recruitment.
  • Partners with site leadership to effect change and effectively serve as a change agent by managing the development, implementation and continuous improvement of programs to enhance employee satisfaction, improve morale, positively impact retention and assure alignment with corporate values and policies.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for business partners, managers, and employees seeking advice and counsel on all workforce matters.
  • Administers processes, policies, and programs related to compensation (i.e., merit increases, PDP ratings), training & development, staffing and employee relations.
  • Communicates program changes to management team and to employees.
  • Oversees the corrective action process for site.
  • Conduct internal investigations regarding possible violations of codes of conduct.
  • Represent the site in charges of violating regulation or law.
  • Works with management team to ensure effective performance management and culture building practices are in place.
  • Ensures compliance with corporate policies, governmental regulations and laws.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as Site HR, HRBP and HR Generalist in the Manufacturing Industry
  • Good knowledge in employment act and legislation impact on human resources management
  • Good knowledge of company HR policies and practices, labour movement, arbitration proceedings.
  • Good public presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a confidential manner.
  • Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in some or all of the following applications: Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct will be advantageous.

Key Skills Needed:

  • Ability to work with senior management team (business partnering) 
  • Good knowledge in MS Excel
  • Report management

Good to have skills: 

  • Strong DL (Direct Labour) recruitment background

  • Work Location:  452 Alexandra Road Singapore 119961 (Near Labrador Park MRT Station)
     
  • Working Days / Hours: 8am to 5.30pm or 8.30am - 6.00pm [Mondays to Fridays]
