Summary
The management and administration of occupational safety and health plans at the workplace encompasses regulatory compliance, on-site hazard identification, automated inspections, education and training, and document filing. The core objective is to prevent occupational accidents, implement risk control, and comply with relevant Ministry of Labor regulations.
Detailed Description
1. Responsible for the management and administration of occupational safety and health (OSH) plans at the workplace.
* Must be present at the workplace during workdays to handle emergencies.
* Provide employee safety and health consultation services and upload records.
* Manage contractor entry and construction safety (including fire protection plan management during construction) and upload plans and related records.
* Conduct regular on-site inspections, establish safety audit policies to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations, and provide follow-up reports and recommendations.
2. Emergency response management.
* Serve as fire safety manager and undergo regular retraining as required by law (if OHS personnel are already certified, another colleague must act as the certified fire safety manager).
* Develop fire protection plans for all company workplaces and conduct fire prevention and disaster relief training and drills according to the plans.
* Serve as the liaison between various work areas, building management committee, and fire department.
3. Work environment monitoring: Responsible for monitoring the work environment twice a year, including carbon dioxide, illuminance, noise, local exhaust system airflow, and chemicals (depending on the items used in the workplace). 4. Manage chemicals in all workplaces, assess risks, and implement appropriate control measures. Ensure proper handling and recording of hazardous materials and waste, comply with government environmental regulations, liaise with relevant departments, and provide relevant management documents.
5. Cooperate with internal and external audits, conduct follow-up improvements and tracking, and upload records.
6. Participate in safety and health related meetings and provide meeting minutes afterward.
7. Provide on-site support for occupational health and medical services (if contracted, act as the designated contact person for this service).
8. Conduct occupational safety and health related training and activities.
9. Other occupational safety related tasks or tasks assigned by supervisors.
10. The above work items will be adjusted accordingly based on regulatory changes or company operational needs.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
1. Five or more years of experience as an occupational safety and health personnel in a medium to large-sized enterprise with over 500 employees.
2. At least one year of experience in implementing and maintaining an ISO 45001 system and in actually implementing ISO 45001 management system certification.
3. Five or more years of experience in conducting BCP/emergency response drills/fire drills, etc.
4. Five or more years of experience as a lecturer in relevant safety and health education and training.
5. Two or more years of experience in internal and external audits and handling audits by labor inspection agencies.
6. Experience in independently writing risk assessment reports, accident investigation reports, audit records, and improvement reports, and the ability to provide previous reports as supporting evidence.
Physical Demands
Typical Experience
1. Possess a Class B Occupational Safety and Health Administrator certificate, a Class A Occupational Safety Manager certificate, or a Class A Occupational Health Manager certificate.
2. Possess a Fire Safety Manager certificate.
3. Possess an ISO45001 Lead Auditor certificate is preferred.
4. Possess a First Aid Personnel certificate is preferred.
Typical Education
Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience. Educational requirements may vary by geography.
