We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Talent Acquisition Manager to lead technical talent acquisition for our most critical and complex design engineering roles in Taiwan. 

The ideal candidate will have deep market expertise and established networks to source and close top-tier Software and Hardware Design Engineers, Architects, Managers, and Leaders for Celestica's next-generation product development initiatives. (#LI-LZ1#,LI-SO1#)

Detailed Description

The Talent Acquisition Manager will serve as a trusted strategic partner, driving the end-to-end technical talent acquisition lifecycle for the Taiwan Design Center, ensuring the recruitment strategy aligns with site-specific goals and global talent strategy.

1. Expert Technical Recruitment & Sourcing
•    Lead Full Life-Cycle Recruitment: Drive the entire recruiting process for highly technical and niche roles, including:
•    Hardware and Software Design Engineers (entry-level to Principal).
•    Technical Managers and Leaders (Director/VP level).
•    Compute, AI/ML Infrastructure, and Cloud/Multi-Cloud Architecture Specialists.
•    Target & Pipeline Top-Tier Candidates: Leverage deep market intelligence and advanced sourcing techniques (headhunting, cold calling, networking) to proactively identify, engage, and build diverse pipelines of high-caliber talent in high-demand fields like Data Center Product Design and Open Compute Project (OCP) architecture.
•    Elevate the Candidate Experience: Manage complex compensation negotiations and effectively articulate Celestica’s unique value proposition of working on cutting-edge, proprietary hardware and software projects.
2. Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
•    Develop and Execute Recruiting Strategy: Design and implement a robust, data-driven talent acquisition strategy specifically for securing talent across the Design Center.
•    Act as a Trusted Technical Consultant: Partner directly with VPs, Directors, and Principal Engineers to conduct consultative intake meetings and influence talent decisions based on real-time market data and competitive landscape analysis.
•    Data-Driven Predictability: Provide data-driven reports on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and quality of hire to predict staffing needs and ensure challenging hiring goals are consistently met.
3. Process Excellence & Branding
•    Process Excellence & Innovation: Continuously identify opportunities to refine and optimize technical recruiting workflows and tool utilization (ATS/CRM) to increase efficiency and maintain a competitive edge.
•    Employer Branding: Cultivate a strong external employer brand that resonates with top technical talent in the Taiwan market.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Technical & Recruiting Expertise
    •    5-10 years of dedicated, hands-on, progressive, full life-cycle recruiting experience in a high-growth, multinational technology environment.
    •    Proven ability to successfully headhunt, cold call, source, and close senior and principal-level technical talent (e.g., Principal Engineers, Technical Architects, Engineering Directors) from top-tier tech companies.
    •    Demonstrable understanding of the competitive landscape for CPU and GPU design talent at the system integration level.
    •    Proven hands-on experience recruiting in one or more of the following domains:
    o    Compute/Data Center Product Design.
    o    AI/ML Engineering (R&D).
    o    Cloud Networking Architecture or Cloud/Multi-Cloud Design.
    Skills & Education
    •    Strong consulting and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior business leaders.
    •    Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
    •    Sound knowledge of relevant government legislation and best practices impacting human resources management and resourcing.
    •    Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a technical field, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
    Highly Desired Assets
    •    Specific experience in recruiting for a Design Center environment.
    •    Prior experience in leading or mentoring a small recruiting team.

Physical Demands

Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. 
Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
Occasional travel may be required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
