Our Market Operations SCM team is responsible for supply chain processes and systems design & deployment, flawless product launches, global logistics and broader business execution, including working capital management. Our supplier quality team works with site quality engineering staff to set and monitor consistent supplier quality performance KPI’s, address supplier performance issues, and drive ongoing quality performance improvement.

  • Works directly with the business to understand their needs and gather requirements,
  • Develops and implements category management plans to reduce costs and increase supplier performance, identifies gaps between current and best practices internally and externally.
  • Manages supplier analysis and pricing strategies for IT Services, Software and outsourced services
  • Maintains responsibility for commodity plans, supplier selection, quotation/contracting and supplier relationship management for high dollar commodities. Identify new suppliers, leads and conducts the RFX process
  • Evaluates bids and make recommendations based on commercial and technical factors
  • Negotiates global and regional agreements, including discount structures, volume rebates and KPI’s with current vendors.
  • Manages contract negotiations (including reviewing, drafting, redlining) from receipt of contract from the vendor through to deal closure subject to final approval by in-house counsel
  • Negotiates directly and independently with the customer or vendor
  • Supports or lead the creation of complex agreements (e.g. outsourcing and large managed service transactions)
  • Maintains purchasing information, files and records (e.g. Requests for Proposal, price comparison, scorecards and contracts for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Builds cross-functional relationships where persuasive skills, negotiation skills, and considerable tact are required to gain support.
  • Interacts regularly with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or customers.
  • Maintains positive relationships with key customers, suppliers, etc., who have a significant impact on the success of the organization.
  • Drives continuous improvements of SCM function through interactions with other departments.
  • Responsible for driving value from IT contracts for all strategic vendors; reducing IT related costs while improving/adding value to the organization.
  • Specific sub-categories within scope include:  IT Hardware/VAR (Value Added Reseller), Cloud,  Saas/Enterprise Application Software and Infrastructure Software (specifically with Oracle/Microsoft//SAP/Concur/Coupa/Ariba/IBM/), Digitizing products and services  and IT outsourced services 
  • Depending on experience, there is an opportunity to have some people management responsibility.



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-10 years of experience working in a large, global organization managing vendors in a procurement, technology portfolio or business development is required. Likewise, experience working with major vendors such as SAP, MS, and Oracle is also required. Experience working with geographically dispersed teams & customer base is desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex IT contracts and relationships, both with contract commercials and with the business of IT including experience with outsourcing vendor contracts including experience with negotiating terms, SLA’s, invoicing and dispute management
  • Strong business acumen with ability to create and analyze cost benefit analysis proposals and advise business leaders, finance and procurement on strengths of various
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to communicate with IT users and business leaders to understand requirements, expectations and value measures
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Strong Excel (macros is a plus), advanced MS Word and Excel skills a requirement
  • Category Management and Sourcing experience, including deep understanding of Strategic Sourcing best practices.
  • General commercial contracts and procurement experience with strong substantive knowledge and experience in drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts provisions.
  • Ability to work within a team and where appropriate alone or with limited guidance, as appropriate
  • Solid experience in face-to-face negotiations and project management
  • Ability to leads complex negotiations effectively
  • Experience creating and implementing SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Identify future procurement projects to management by working collaboratively with stakeholders and through category strategy.
  • Co-develop and execute Sourcing Strategies with the Business, advising and guiding the process to the best-fit approach, tactics and tools (e.g. outcome-based specifications, RFP/RFI/RFQ builds, E-auctions, KPI/SLA development).
  • Deliver excellence in front-end procurement activities, including market research, demand management, spend analytics, Category Strategy development, negotiation, stakeholder engagement
  • Deliver procurement activities, KPI & SLA development and tracking, Stakeholder engagement and communications
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
