Detailed Description
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and corporate functions, translating complex priorities into clear, compelling communications.
- Develop and implement comprehensive internal and external communications plans that directly support business goals and long-term growth.
- Lead the planning and execution of global town halls and internal events, including drafting executive speaking points, speeches, and presentation materials.
- Drive communications programs designed to enhance talent practices and significantly improve employee engagement.
- Partner closely with social media and brand teams to align internal and external narratives, ensuring consistent messaging across all global channels.
- Draft a wide range of materials, including blogs, emails, briefing documents, presentations, Intranet content, Q&As, and key messages.
- Oversee the Intranet strategy and roadmap, managing content and platform enhancements to ensure a relevant and modern employee experience.
- Lead and execute the corporate donations program, aligning philanthropic efforts with the company’s broader mission.
- Mentor and engage a small, high-performing team, fostering professional development and operational excellence.
- Provide a strong perspective on best practices, emerging trends, and innovative approaches to employee communications.
Who You Are
- 15+ years of experience in a complex corporate environment; experience in a global and/or publicly traded company is highly valued.
- Exceptional writer and proofreader with a proven ability to translate complex or abstract ideas into clear, engaging, and impactful communications.
- Proven track record of independently developing and executing strategic communications plans across diverse geographies and multiple languages.
- Highly skilled at mobilizing and influencing teams and senior stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor to leadership.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and deliver on competing initiatives under tight timelines.
- Collaborative interpersonal skills with a natural ability to work as part of a high-performing team to share ideas and drive results.
- Strong people leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and engaging talent.
- A forward-thinking mindset regarding best practices, emerging trends, and innovative approaches to employee engagement.
Physical Demands
- Duties of this position are generally performed in good working conditions. Occasional exposure to elements such as noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, etc.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Salary
The stated range includes Base Salary and target Short-Term Incentive (STI) compensation only. A comprehensive benefits package is offered in addition to this range.
The range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including but not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate.
Salary Range: $125,000-$175,000 CAD/year
