Summary:
The Senior Specialist, IT Enterprise PDM (Product Data Management) Solutions is a member of the Enterprise PDM solutions CoE team, and is responsible for working on the Celestica PDM solutions which are based on a platform of Dassault Enovia 3DEXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will work with the business stakeholders to understand various business requirements, other application CoE’s to interlock on the cross application dependencies and with celestica IT services vendors as necessary to support the business objectives.
The Senior Specialist, IT Enterprise Domain is also responsible for the evangelization of best practices for the PDM Domain, Dassault Enovia 3DEXPERIENCE PLATFORM and will work with the Various teams within the Enterprise PDM Solutions CoE and other IT Platform CoE subject matter experts to facilitate their adoption. The senior specialist will work with business customers to resolve and remediate the issues encountered in their usage of the platform, and will use the best practices of the ITIL support framework and the Dassault Enovia 3DEXPERIENCE platform to identify problem areas and root causes of incidents to provide proactive solutions.
Detailed Description:
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Platform administration Maintenance - work with the platform management lead to ensure availability of services, identify areas of improvement and continuous improvement. Work with platform management leads to supporting new initiatives.
- Process consulting - work with business teams to capture requirements, translate requirements to business processes within the platform and the 3DEXPERIENCE eco-system based on fit-gap assessment(including modules of P&O, Engineering and manufacturing BOMS, Change Management, Classifications, Issue Management, Project Management, SAP integrations, IPEC etc)
- Conduct and participate in workshops to capture user requirements, understand other integrated platform requirements and provide architectural solutions meeting the objectives of the extended landscape.
- Release management, Review & Deploy - Work with the platform management and support service team to review work products and deliverables, ensure they meet platform architecture, development methods and practices. Deploy and maintain changes per platform guidelines
- Troubleshooting and support : work with the support team to troubleshoot issues (technical, functional and performance) and provide resolutions to business issues
- Training & support: provide adhoc training as necessary to other members on the team, SME's and end users as necessary on the platform best practices and functionality
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
- Functional and/or Industry-Specific Experience Required for This Job:
- Extensive knowledge of requirement gathering, system design and solution implementation (technical specifications for reports, interfaces, data conversions, extension/modifications and forms) specific to Enovia 3DEXPERIENCE V2015+, V2017/2018 and 2019 applications.
- Good understanding and hands on experience of 3DEXPERIENCE platform administration (installation, administration, tuning and maintenance of the platform)
- Expertise in PLM business process definition - work with business teams to capture requirements, translate requirements to business processes within the platform and the 3dexperience eco-system using fit-gap analysis (including P&O, Engineering and manufacturing BOMS, Change Management, Classifications, Issue Management, Project Management, SAP integrations, IPEC etc)
- Expertise in troubleshooting technical issues (code, data model, data, scema etc) on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
- Strong hands on programming and scripting expertise in Java, JSP, TCL, MQL, SQL, Java Script, JPO, Enovia UI components
- Good knowledge of 3DEXperience database schema design and data analysis.
- Creation of professional quality presentation, Requirement, Functional Design, and Process flow documentation
- 4-6 years of hands on experience in designing, developing application in Dassault Enovia PLM (product lifecycle management) space at enterprise level using customizations and configurations
- Well versed in Engineering BOM, Manufacturing BOM, Change management, Classifications, Issue Management, Project Management, SAP integrations, IPEC modules of Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE platform
- 3-4 years of experience in 3DExperience platform (2017x and up) Enovia application configuration and schema design is must
- Understanding of the end to end interactions of system level components such as client endpoints, network, network etc. and components like SSO, database, webserver, application server, middle-ware, etc. with respect to end to end performance
General Skills, Knowledge, Competencies:
- Hands on experience in 2-3 Full Lifecycle deployments in Enovia/3DEXperience
- Certification In Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE - Desirable
- In-Depth Knowledge in SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, Scrum deployment methodologies
- Knowledge of 3DEXPERIENCE API's and implementation in an enterprise landscape
- In-Depth knowledge of J2EE web technologies, deployment and administration in tomcat application servers, loadbalancing etc.
- Well versed and hands on experience desirable in DevOps, preferably using Jira, Git platform, Jenkins
- Team player and ability to work with geographically distributed on-shore off-shore teams.
- Experience of working with regulatory requirements such as FDA, CGP, ITAR etc.
- Highly motivated, able to work independently and have a professional demeanor with various stakeholders.
- Participates in the rotation of 24x7 call support if required.
- Very good command of written & spoken English.
- Organization and time management with little overall supervision.
Physical Demands:
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
Typical Experience:
3DEXPERIENCE development and support. 6-8 years of experience in Information Technology, preferably in a similar industry (Manufacturing, Supply Chain). 4-6 years hands-on technical experience working with solutions related to the Domain. Experience having worked as an Architect and/or having lead a Technical team in delivering complex solutions. Understanding of industry trends relevant to the domain area. Proven track record of supporting large-scale architectural or delivery projects across multiple business and functional domains (i.e. Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc.) Exposure to various aspects of architecture best practices: frameworks, business, application, data, security, infrastructure and governance. Experience in working with providing application support.
