About this Opportunity

We are looking for a curious and self-guided AI & Analytics Intern to join the IT Enterprise Platform team. This role is designed for a problem solver who thrives in a flexible environment where you help build the process instead of just following one. You will be directly involved in the design, development, and support of new and existing applications across both on-premise and cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Familiarity with Cloud Software and Architecture (specifically Google Cloud and/or Azure) is an asset.

• Basic knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle concepts.

• Familiarity with Generative AI work is a plus, experience with open source tools, etc.

• Desire to make a difference and solve problems.

• Self starter mindset.

Activities: 

• Developing and\or enhancing dashboards and analytics

• Enabling AI applications, helping to deliver training/outcomes

• Assisting in the gathering of requirements for new use cases and analytics - includes collecting and analyzing existing documentation, reviewing with Subject Matter Experts & writing specification documents

• Perform routine management/support/reporting tasks as they relate to applications (both out of the box and custom development) under our control

• Working with other team(s) in system troubleshooting of the application problems

• Testing of new releases of the application for production environment.

Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
