About this opportunity:
This position is ideal for a person with a passion for business analytics and problem solving in a team environment.
The ideal candidate has an aptitude for:
- Exploring data sets to find hidden patterns, trends and opportunities to improve business processes and strategies
- Performing complex analysis
- Relating analytical findings to business impacts
- Presenting analytical concepts and findings in ways that resonate with non-technical audiences (verbal + visual communication)
- Exploring opportunities collaboratively with business stakeholders to drawing out key facts, observations, and assumptions
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to thrive in the dynamic environment. Manage commitments and changing priorities. Prioritize and re-assess schedules and tasks quickly and effectively
- Knowledge of basic supply chain and/or financial functions (e.g. accounting/budgeting, supplier/vendor management, customer management, sourcing, planning, buying, logistics etc.)
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, macros, VBA, Power BI)
- Experience with databases, analytic applications, and programming languages (e.g. data modeling, SQL, R, Java)
- Ability to facilitate group discussions
- We are looking for a team player who possesses exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), is able to learn quickly, is self-motivated and has excellent analytical abilities
Activities:
- Analytics Consulting Services & Database management
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase the value of investments
- Performing cost-benefit analysis and making recommendations based on findings
- Mapping processes flows
- Develop and conduct training
- Develop and maintain project plans
- Identify and assess/evaluate technology opportunities
- Generate IT operational reports
- Maintain logs and records for financial analysis and forecasting
- Conduct vendor calls and manage vendor relationships
- Develop, improve and run advanced analytical models and engines
- Conduct client assessment interviews
- Assess financial impact of analytical findings
- Closed-loop tracking of insight, actions and outcomes
- Setup and monitor automated data feeds into hubs of historical data
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships
- Work with database and programming in .NET, SQL, Java etc.
- Website development software development lifecycle concepts
Physical Demands:
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, etc).
