Celestica is an award winning leader in sustainability. The Corporate Sustainability Intern position is ideally suited for a person who aspires to make a positive impact on the environment and the communities in which we live and work. You will work directly with an immediate supervisor, providing support to a small team of experts who coordinate environmental and social sustainability programs for Celestica sites globally.

Activities:

• Consolidate, analyze and report on various performance metrics
• Support Celestica’s sustainability data and analytics software
• Manage and/or participate in various sustainability projects and initiatives, including the annual Sustainability Report and CDP Report.
• Research new processes and technologies to improve reporting, operational processes, and environmental and social metrics
• Engage, present and participate in global discussions and correspond with global sites
• Create presentations and reports using Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Manage workload through detailed instructions, routines and procedures. Once proficiency is gained, work will be managed autonomously and more complex duties will be provided.
• Attend webinars and other learning sessions to advance sustainability knowledge

Preferred Skills

• Awareness of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting/inventories
• Awareness of CDP reporting
• Strong written and verbal skills, including presentation skills
• Awareness of corporate sustainability reporting which may include Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and/or Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB)
• Knowledge of Circular Economy and material waste streams
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in various Microsoft Office (particularly, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google applications
• Experience in leading global events

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed as per a hybrid work model in a normal office
• Duties may require extended periods of sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or
  on numbers and other detailed data
