About this Opportunity:
Celestica is an award-winning leader in sustainability. The Corporate Sustainability Intern position is ideally suited for a person who aspires to make a positive impact on the environment and the communities in which we live and work. You will work directly with an immediate supervisor, providing support to a small team of experts who coordinate environmental and social sustainability programs for Celestica sites globally.

Activities:
- Consolidate, analyze and report on various performance metrics
- Research new processes and technologies to improve reporting, operational processes and environmental and social metrics
- Participate in or project manage various sustainability initiatives
- Support Celestica’s sustainability data and analytics software
- Create presentations and reports using Microsoft office and Google Suite applications
- Manage workload through detailed instructions, routines and procedures. Once proficiency in tasks is achieved you will work autonomously and be given more complex duties. Will work directly with immediate supervisor, co-workers and team members.
- Engage, present and participate in global discussions and correspond with global sites
- Attend webinars and other learning sessions to advance sustainability knowledge
- Awareness of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting/inventories
- Awareness of CDP reporting
- Strong written and verbal skills, including presentation skills
- Awareness of corporate sustainability reporting which may include Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and/or Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB)
- Knowledge of Circular Economy and material waste streams
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in various Microsoft Office (particularly, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google applications
- Experience in leading global events
Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
