About this opportunity:
The Salesforce Developer Intern will work with a team to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions across the Salesforce platform. The student will be involved in the configuration, development, and support of specific functionalities associated with Business Requirements from Operations/Business Counterparts. As well, they will provide ongoing support to end-users and resolve business issues through technological design and critical thinking.

- Enrolled in a formal University or college Internship program.

Some degree of experience with Apex, Visualforce, and/or Lightning Web Components (LWC) (one or multiple).

Have some fundamental understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, object-oriented design, and relational databases.

Ability to adapt and adjust work accordingly in an evolving environment.

Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle concepts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-driven mindset.

Able to work with users around the globe and discern what their concerns/requirements are.
Activities:

Design, develop, and implement solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other platform tools to support business requirements on the Salesforce platform, working on key projects and initiatives.

Create and modify configurations using standard Salesforce tools, including Flow, and Validation Rules.

Troubleshoot production and test issues; performing root cause analysis, recommending corrective action, and performing resolution efforts.

Writing, testing, and debugging custom code and configurations, including Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC).

Assuring quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported areas.

Provide ongoing support to end-users and resolve business issues through technological design and critical thinking.

Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:
-
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office with exposure to manufacturing environments.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
- Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc).
- Basic manufacturing system knowledge.
