Summary
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Cash Management. It will be an important role in Corporate Treasury and the primary work scope includes cash flow forecast, liquidity planning and banking administration.
Detailed Description
- Own enterprise cash flow forecast models and perform detailed cash analysis to provide insight into cash flow drivers.
- Prepare treasury management reports to support the month end and quarter end close processes.
- Lead the optimization of global bank accounts management. Ensure the authorized bank signers and payment approvers are up to date. Set up the proper fraud protection services for all bank accounts. Recommend and implement changes to improve controls and efficiency, and reduce bank fees.
- Lead bank integration projects to automate the payment and collection process.
- Support the global liquidity planning process.
- Support special payments and intercompany funding.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial models, treasury processes and controls.
- Ensure adherence to finance policies. Respond to internal and external audit requests.
- Support team members in other functions as needed, including insurance, credit and FX.
- Support ad hoc projects and analysis and other responsibilities as needed. Includes improvement of Treasury Management System, managing the company’s AR sales program, short term investments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on M&A and systems improvements.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- Strong financial modeling, analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills required. Knowledge of Power BI, Bloomberg, SAP and treasury management systems is beneficial.
- Ability to bridge between actual, plan and forecast, analyzing mix impacts and summarizing in management reports.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to deliver under tight time deadlines.
- Independent, self-starter, excellent written and oral communications skills.
Physical Demands
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
- Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc)
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
Salary
The stated range includes Base Salary and target Short-Term Incentive (STI) compensation only. A comprehensive benefits package is offered in addition to this range.

Salary Range: $89,355-124,779 CAD/year
Typical Experience
- 3-6 years’ experience working in a Treasury or Finance Department of a multinational/global company preferred.
Typical Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
Relevant professional designation (CPA, CFA or CTP) preferred.
