Summary

The Design and Engineering Services department in Celestica Valencia is specialized in the development of new products and electronic systems for both its customers (mostly international) and the production line within the factory. We look for an engineer that understands hardware and software (software is the main need) in order to develop fixtures (tools) able to test and demonstrate the boards and products we build are perfect before being sent to our customers.

Detailed Description

As an essential part of a development team, the designer will take responsibility for the software conception, build and debug of new test systems.

The engineer will be a part of a team, and that is one thing that defines us as a department: Our people, how they treat each other and grow together.

Tasks to be performed will be related to create software for testing the products in the manufacturing process. We need to assure what we are sending to our customers works perfectly.

In the software side, the most typical duties are programming test sequences, programming software tools and understand the whole test automation in order to help with the debug.
You will be one of the components of the development team, contributing with your point of view and proposing solutions and alternatives aimed to overcome the different challenges that a development project presents.

 

 


 

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

If you are like this, we are waiting for you:
- Knowledge on electronic circuit design. Datasheet evaluation. Ability to read electrical diagrams.
- Programming skills: Labview, Python, C#, C++...
- Fluent in English, both written and oral.
- Collaborative, entrepreneur, looking for getting things done.

Typical Experience

Entry level.

If you have experience creating projects DIY at home or at the university. Please, we are looking for you.

If you have experience developing software, we are looking for you.

If you have experience with test of products or boards, we are looking for you.
 

Typical Education

A degree or master related with Electronics, Telecommunications or Computer Engineering.
