Summary

Are you a highly skilled and proactive Systems Engineer with a passion for optimizing production processes and leveraging data to drive efficiency? We're seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing operations.

In this position, you'll work independently on complex assignments, applying your deep technical expertise to solve challenging problems and implement impactful solutions. You'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining robust data systems, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to the strategic evolution of our manufacturing technology landscape.

Detailed Description

  • Troubleshoot and Optimize: Independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to products, processes, components, or materials, ensuring efficient production.

  • Implement & Enhance: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing technical changes and enhancements to existing equipment, processes, products, and components based on evolving requirements.

  • System Development & Management: Collaborate with peers and the IT team to design, develop, and implement strategic and operational plans and tools for managing critical product, process, and inspection data.

  • Data Integrity & Security: Lead systematic actions to ensure data integrity, traceability, disaster recovery, and overall data management excellence.

  • Process & Tool Evaluation: Evaluate and enhance existing test methods, tool designs, manufacturing process procedures, inspections, and documentation to maximize efficiency and quality.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a Team Leader for specific Business Unit projects, fostering collaboration and guiding initiatives to successful completion.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Interface directly with internal and external customers on all data-related matters, ensuring clear communication and effective solutions.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar engineering role. This isn't an entry-level position; we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running.

  • Exceptional Programming Skills: A strong command of programming is essential. We are specifically looking for proficiency in C#, Python, and SQL. Nice to have JavaScript, HTML and Superset. While not a strict blocker if you're missing one, your overall programming skill level must be high. 

  • Data Network Expertise: Solid knowledge of data network infrastructure and management. While you won't be a full-time network administrator, you must be capable of defining, configuring, and troubleshooting local network issues for equipment and machines.

  • Hardware & Data Recovery Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer hardware, including the ability to create and implement backup and data recovery strategies, software, and hardware.

  • Data Analysis Prowess: Ability to perform mass data analysis using industry-standard tools and methodologies, with a foundational understanding of Six Sigma principles.

  • Problem-Solving & Strategic Thinking: A highly resolute and proactive attitude, capable of tackling daily operational tasks while also elevating to a strategic perspective when defining work standards, system architectures, and other long-term initiatives.

  • Manufacturing Acumen: Knowledge and understanding of systems and printed circuit board manufacturing processes and equipment (manual and automated).

  • Quality & Standards: Familiarity with industry and quality standards.

  • Testing & Failure Analysis: Knowledge of testing software, processes, methodologies, and failure analysis.

  • Critical Thinking & Communication: Excellent organizational skills, strong critical thinking abilities, and effective communication skills for interacting with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Typical Experience

  • Two to Four years relevant experience

Typical Education

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Telecomunications, Industrial Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
