Summary

The Capacity engineer is responsible for monitoring the site capacity for both front-end, back-end, assembly and testing processes. 

Detailed Description

1.  Monitor production site capacity. These includes, on a monthly basis:
    1.1 Coordinate with the cross functional teams to collect needed information for the calculation, such as :
          - Cycle time / machine time simulation for SMT
          - OEE
          - Factory calendar
          - Machine list
          - Project list
          - Volumes
     1.2 Ensure the validity of the data with the responsible person and department.
     1.3 Develop and sustain the calculation file.
     1.4 Actively participate in the development of the database.
2. Define the need for new industrial projects:
     2.1 Coordinate with the Costing team, Production team and Customer Focus Team to ensure that all new industrial projects are taken into consideration into the calculation file.
     2.2 Confirm the capacity needed for new industrial projects and escalate in case of additional needs.
     2.3 Support the team on elaboration of the Industrial Plan for new projects.
     2.4 Support customers on the capacity study requests.
3. Work with the IE team on the site industrial strategy:
     3.1 Provide the industrial needs to the Layout team upon request
     3.2 Define the capacity planning over:
           - Month until December
           - 1 year = AOP
           - Years = Strategy plan

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

1- 2+ years experience for industrial engineer works
2- Good communication for English (Reading,  writing and speaking)
3- Highly skilled for spreadsheet software is recommended

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. 
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
• Occasional travel may be required.
