Summary

The Lead Engineer, Test Development designs, develops and implements automatic test equipment and test programs for product testing and design verification which ensure robust and high quality assembled products in manufacturing.
A Test Development Engineer may specialize in many areas but are generally categorized into Structural (verification of an assembly process by testing each of its smaller elements and their interconnects) and Functional (verification that a design will perform its main purpose).  

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

1. Design and develop test solutions including hardware & software elements and then system integration, qualification, and installation to meet product, quality and test requirements outlined in the test plan.
2. Debug of tester issues using design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies
3. Execute all validation/qualification requirements by applying statistical and common industry methods
4. Stabilization of Test Solutions for manufacturing working to optimize with process teams focusing on cycle time and yield.
5. Project lead for test development, Work across / coordinate with external and internal team including reviews of their work.
6. Coaching team and bring up team skill sets relate to test development
7. Test developers may also work with product design teams with feedback from product testability, test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics and user experience.
8. Work in oversea for tester commissioning and transfer to site. Including face to face business meeting. 
9. Creates technical proposals (solution and timelines) based on requirements
10. Provide high level test hardware and software solution architecture
11. Reviews and interprets customer documentation, conducts appropriate research, analysis and experiments with minimal direction from senior staff.
12. Create structural or functional test strategy and test plan to meet project goals and requirements
13. Create technical proposals with costed BOM and hours estimates
14. Create product test requirements with guidance from senior staff and collaboration with customer designers
15. Provides Technical program management for small projects

Project Management - Ability to manage a single line engineering project with a limited number of participants. Create a project/change management plan, establish and distribute project roles, and communicate what is needed from the project participants in order to make the project successful.

Qualification / Skill

1. Male.
2. Bachelor degree or higher.
3. +8 years experience in Test Development or relate field.
4. Has an experience and understand the overview of Electronic manufacturing process / requirement or relate industry.
5. Able to do Electronic circuit design / analysis and do problem solving relate to electronic component.
6. Able to do Software development by using NI TestStand and LabVIEW.
7. [Preferred] Has basic knowledge for Python, C#, C, C++, Linux and database(SQL).
8. [Preferred] Has basic knowledge for PLC.
9. [Preferred] Has basic knowledge for RF test solution.
10.Good command in English and Thai for communication.
11.Has the experience on test fixture design. Mechanical design review.
12.Has the experience on test verification and validation by using cpk, GR&R analysis, MSA and other relate tool.

Soft skill

2. Able to negotiate and manage on change request.

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. 
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Typical Experience

• +8 years experience in Test Development or relate field.

Typical Education

Bachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
